The Waseca Bluejays basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers to 75 in the Bluejays league triumph on Saturday.

The Bluejays now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Clair for a AA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Waseca will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 74-66 league loss to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Cyclones record now stands at 5-7.

The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Watertown-Mayer nudged Rockford (Rockford, MN), 55-42, in a league contest.
