In Saturday's league outing, the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) basketball squad beat the host Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), by a count of 44-32.

The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers go into the 3A Far West outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Lakeview was topped by North Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 75-60, in a league outing.

The Chieftains now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Sutherlin for a 3A Far West outing on Wednesday, January 18.
