In Saturday's non-league outing, the River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) basketball squad nipped the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), by a margin of 66-59.
The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI). The Pioneers go into the Michigan Metro outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Harper Woods got by West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI), 47-45, in a non-league outing.
