Colorado High School Basketball - Highlands Ranch tops Mullen

January 14, 2023: Highlands Ranch, CO 80130

Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 73-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highlands Ranch upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Grizzlies in a 6A/5A Continental bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 10-4. ThunderRidge won 78-59 in their recent league bout against Legend (Parker, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO) in a 6A Centennial challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Mullen will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 74-73 non-league win over George Washington (Denver, CO).
