The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats (Cando, ND) basketball crushed the visiting Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND), 67-37 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bearcats (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Langdon/Edmore/Munich (Langdon, ND). The go into the B Region 4 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Langdon/Edmore/Munich was routed by Thompson (Thompson, ND), 80-30, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Hillsboro/Central Valley moves to 4-4 on the year. The H-cv burros host Thompson (Thompson, ND) to meet the Tommies in a B Region 2 match on Saturday, January 21. The Tommies enter the match with a record of 5-3.
