Kettle Moraine Lasers (Wales, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI), 72-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kettle Moraine upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lasers travel to Mukwonago (Mukwonago, WI) to clash with the Indians in a Classic Eight bout on Friday, January 20. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Mukwonago lost 82-73 in their recent league bout against Arrowhead (Hartland, WI)

Next up, the Lightning clash with the St. Francis Mariners (St. Francis, WI) in a Midwest Classic bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Lake Country Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Catholic Central (Burlington, WI).
