Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Kiski Area thwarts Linsly

The Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), 58-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL 5A 3 test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Penn-Trafford notched a victory over West York Area (York, PA), 62-54, in a non-league test.
The Cadets now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Parkersburg South for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Linsly will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 82-51 non-league win over Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 8-1.
