The Ocean Township Spartans basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Long Branch Green Wave to 35 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Donovan Catholic for a Shore C - South contest on Tuesday, January 17. Ocean Township will battle a Griffins team coming off a 47-32 league win over Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Griffins record now stands at 2-4.
The Green Wave (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ). The Colonials enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
