Milton Academy Mustangs (Milton, MA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), 70-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milton Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Austin Prep (Reading, MA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Austin Prep lost 64-57 in their recent non-league bout against Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH)

Next up, the Pelicans play the Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
