The Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT), 64-59 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave go into the Fairfield County test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Darien was tipped by Trumbull (Trumbull, CT), 56-47, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Rocky Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Maloney will encounter a Terriers squad coming off a 100-28 non-league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT). The Terriers record now stands at 0-8.
