With the victory, Malden Catholic upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. St. John's lost 64-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Boston College High (Boston, MA)

Next up, the Bears play the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 15. Tech Boston Academy/Academy of Public Service will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 63-56 league loss to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA).
