Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN), 68-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Christian upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Stars travel to Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN) to play the Beacons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Beacons go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Monday, January 16. Mayer Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 42-39 league win over Martin County West (Sherburn, MN).
