Wisconsin High School Basketball - McFarland nips Mount Horeb

McFarland Spartans (McFarland, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mount Horeb Vikings (Mount Horeb, WI), 67-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McFarland upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Spartans host East Troy (East Troy, WI) to play the Trojans in a Rock Valley bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-6.

Next up, the Vikings play the Dodgeville Dodgers (Dodgeville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Mount Horeb will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Dodgers go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 70-42 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI).
