New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe Indian holds off Menaul

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM), saw Santa Fe Indian's basketball squad hold off Menaul by a tally of 62-56.

With the victory, Santa Fe Indian improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to confront the Cardinals in a 3A District 2 challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Robertson won 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 2A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Menaul will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 71-57 non-league win over Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM).
