North Prairie co-op [Rolette/Wolford/Rolla] Comets (Rolette, ND) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midway/Minto Mustangs (Inkster, ND), 76-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Prairie co-op [Rolette/Wolford/Rolla] upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Dunseith (Dunseith, ND) to play the Dragons in a B Region 4 bout on Monday, January 16. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Dunseith won 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Larimore Polar Bears (Larimore, ND) in a B Region 2 bout, on Monday, January 16. Midway/Minto will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 53-52 league loss to Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND).
