Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Millville Thunderbolts (Millville, NJ), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Timber Creek Regional upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Chargers host Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Cumberland lost 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Atlantic City Vikings (Atlantic City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Millville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Dade Christian (Miami, FL).
