The Flames now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel for a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Northgate will battle a Spartan team coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Mercer (Mercer, PA). The Spartan record now stands at 4-8.

The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Perry Traditional Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Commodores come into the Pittsburgh City battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Perry Traditional Academy was routed by Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA), 57-47, in a league battle.
