Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) and the host West York Area Bulldogs (York, PA), saw Penn-Trafford's basketball squad knock off West York Area by a count of 62-54.

With the victory, Penn-Trafford upgrades its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to play the Cavaliers in a WPIAL 5A 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Kiski Area won 70-56 in their recent league challenge against McKeesport (McKeesport, PA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the York Suburban Trojans (York, PA) in a York-Adams 2 challenge, on Monday, January 16. West York Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 56-43 league win over Dover (Dover, PA).
