With the win, Piedmont upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Oakland (Oakland, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Oakland won 56-48 in their recent league bout against Fremont (Oakland, CA)
