United Faith Christian Academy Falcons (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, United Faith Christian Academy upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Robinson (Concord, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-5. Robinson won 80-38 in their recent league bout against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)

Next up, the Chargers play the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Providence Day will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC).
