The Wapsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Riceville Wildcats to 47 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Tuesday, January 17. Wapsie Valley will meet a Knights team coming off a 83-59 league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Knights record now stands at 6-8.

The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Janesville (Janesville, IA). The Wildcats enter the Iowa Star contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Janesville triumphed over Tripoli (Tripoli, IA), 43-24, in a league contest.
