In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Joseph's Prep Hawks (Philadelphia, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), by a count of 76-48.
The Hawks (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Catholic (Philadelphia, PA). The Burrs go into the Philadelphia Catholic outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, West Catholic smashed Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA), 79-46, in a league outing.
The Cavaliers now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Valley View for a Lackawanna 1 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Scranton Prep will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 50-47 league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
