South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN), 67-17 in a league bout.

With the win, South Spencer upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Rebels host North Posey (Poseyville, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a Pocket bout on Friday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-6. North Posey won 58-38 in their recent league bout against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)

Next up, the Marksmen clash with the Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) in a Pocket bout, on Friday, January 20. Tell City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 57-45 league win over Boonville (Boonville, IN).
