Utah High School Basketball - Tabiona fells Waterford

January 14, 2023: Tabiona, UT 84072

Tabiona Tigers (Tabiona, UT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT), 66-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tabiona upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Tigers host Altamont (Altamont, UT) to play the Longhorns in a 1A Region 22 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Altamont won 48-34 in their recent league bout against Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT)

Next up, the Ravens play the American Prep WV Eagles (West Valley City, UT) in a 2A Region 17 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Waterford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 50-43 league loss to Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT).
