In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ), by a margin of 64-56.
The Tigers (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Highwaymen go into the Big North - National outing with a 11-1 record. In their last outing, Teaneck thwarted Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ), 41-33, in a non-league outing.
The Angels now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host NV - Demarest for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16. Academy of the Holy Angels will clash with a Norsemen squad coming off a 41-18 league loss to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ). The Norsemen record now stands at 5-6.
