Stone Ridge Christian Knights (Merced, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats (Stockton, CA), 39-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stone Ridge Christian upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Elliot Christian (Lodi, CA) to play the Eagles in a Central California Athletic Alliance bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Elliot Christian lost 49-35 in their recent league bout against Millennium (Tracy, CA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy (Stockton, CA) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Ben Holt College Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Legacy go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Vanguard College Prep (Modesto, CA).
