In Saturday's non-league outing, the Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), by a margin of 56-52.
The Skippers (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds go into the non-league outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Moorhead held off Bemidji (Bemidji, MN), 46-32, in a league outing.
The Red Knights now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Benilde-St. Margaret's will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 73-50 non-league loss to Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-8.
