The Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) basketball knocked off the host Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), 60-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Fighting Owls (7-7) will now prepare for their test against North Penn (Lansdale, PA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, North Penn notched a victory over Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 48-39, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Lower Moreland for a Suburban One - American test on Tuesday, January 17. Wissahickon will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 58-24 league loss to Abington (Abington, PA). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.
