Teays Valley Vikings (Ashville, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH), 51-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Teays Valley upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State - Buckeye bout on Monday, January 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Bloom-Carroll lost 47-37 in their recent league bout against Teays Valley (Ashville, OH)

Next up, the Hawks play the Carroll Patriots (Dayton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Bishop Hartley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 54-34 league win over Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH).
