In Saturday's non-league match, the host Omak Pioneers basketball team scored a tight 58-55 triumph over the Brewster Bears.
In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail match, on Friday, January 20. Omak will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-4 record after their 70-56 non-league loss to Wapato (Wapato, WA).
