Georgia High School Basketball - Buford nipped by River Ridge

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting River Ridge Knights basketball team scored a tight 53-51 triumph over the Buford Wolves.

In their next game, the Knights face the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 match, on Tuesday, January 17. River Ridge will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Chiefs enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 53-40 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA).

With the defeat, Buford moves to 15-1 on the year. The Wolves travel to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to face the Eagles in a AAAAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-9. Collins Hill lost 73-46 in their recent non-league match against Galloway (Atlanta, GA)
