The Catasauqua Rough Riders basketball team (Catasauqua, PA), was nudged 46-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA)

The Crusaders now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moravian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Notre Dame-Green Pond will confront a Lions team coming off a 35-33 non-league loss to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.

The Rough Riders (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Palmerton (Palmerton, PA). The Blue Bombers come into the Colonial - North battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Palmerton edged Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA), 41-21, in a non-league battle.
