In Saturday's league outing, the West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH), by a margin of 51-46.
The Roughriders (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH). The Indians go into the Ohio Heritage outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Mechanicsburg held off Greenon (Springfield, OH), 59-50, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southeastern Local for a Ohio Heritage outing on Wednesday, January 18. Cedarville will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 47-43 league win over Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 8-4.
