In Saturday's non-league match, the host Deerfield Demons basketball team scored a good 50-40 triumph over the Markesan Hornets.
In their next game, the Demons meet the Edgerton Crimson Tide (Edgerton, WI) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 16. Deerfield will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record.
