The Rosary Royals basketball team (Aurora, IL), dropped 63-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Galena Pirates (Galena, IL)
The Pirates now sport a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Galena will battle a Huskies team coming off a 70-34 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 13-5.
The Royals (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Byron (Byron, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, Byron prevailed over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 51-39, in a non-league battle.
