Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich nudges Glenbrook South

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball squad edged the host Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL), by a margin of 54-50.

The Bears (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The North Stars go into the non-league outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, St. Charles North held off Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 67-20, in a non-league outing.

The Titans now own a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Evanston for a Central Suburban - South outing on Tuesday, January 17. Glenbrook South will clash with a Wildkits squad coming off a 72-43 non-league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 8-10.
