The Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), 48-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The J-Hawks (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Harvard went down by Palatine (Palatine, IL), 71-17, in a non-league test.
The Blue Demons now own a 2-20 record. They play next when they travel to Palatine for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Maine East will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 71-17 non-league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 10-9.
