The Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL), 46-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Redhawks (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Proviso West was tipped by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 60-36, in a non-league test.
The Lancers now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Yorkville for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Lake Park will encounter a Foxes squad coming off a 69-49 league win over Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 13-8.
