New Jersey High School Basketball - Mount St. Mary Academy nudges Moore Catholic

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY), by a count of 38-35.
The Lions (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Somerville (Somerville, NJ). The Pioneers go into the Skyland - Valley outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Somerville held off West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ), 48-25, in a non-league outing.
The Mavericks now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fontbonne Hall Academy for a Catholic - Bronx outing on Tuesday, January 17. Moore Catholic will clash with a Bonnies squad coming off a 69-40 non-league loss to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Syosset, NY). The Bonnies record now stands at 0-6.
