Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA), 72-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morse upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to play the Pointers in a Eastern bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Pointers come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Point Loma lost 35-33 in their recent non-league bout against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA)

Next up, the Norsemen play the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors (Bermuda Dunes, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Valhalla will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Conquerors come into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 59-18 league win over California Military Institute (Perris, CA).
