The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) basketball crushed the host Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), 45-6 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Freedom was trounced by Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 49-37, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pen Argyl for a Colonial - East test on Tuesday, January 17. Palisades will encounter a Green Knights squad coming off a 58-27 non-league win over Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 4-2.
