The Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Wood-Ridge Blue Devils (Wood-Ridge, NJ), 43-30 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Scarlets (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Golden Bears go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Lyndhurst notched a victory over Butler (Butler, NJ), 49-36, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mary Help of Christians Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Wood-Ridge will encounter a Blue Jays squad coming off a 44-12 non-league loss to Passaic Arts & Science Charter (Passaic, NJ). The Blue Jays record now stands at 3-5.
