Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rock Hill upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Falcons in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Nation Ford won 55-48 in their recent league bout against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a A D1 Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Woodville-Tompkins will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 60-36 non-league win over McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA).
