Ohio High School Basketball - South Point knocked off by Waverly

The Waverly Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting South Point Pointers to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Webster for a Southern Ohio II contest on Monday, January 16. Waverly will meet a Jeeps team coming off a 55-40 league win over Valley (Lucasville, OH). The Jeeps record now stands at 9-7.
The Pointers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers enter the Ohio Valley contest with a 1-12 record.
