With the victory, Belen upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Sartans come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Chargers play the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 29-15 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
