The West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA) soccer nudged the host Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the win, West Ouachita moves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Gators go into the bout with a 22-1 record after their 2-2 non-league Hallsville (Hallsville, TX).
