In Saturday's league challenge, the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) ice hockey team the visiting Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), by a margin of 4-1.

The Clippers now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Kingstown for a State Championship Division challenge on Friday, January 20. Cumberland will clash with a Skippers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 1-8.

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, New Canaan tipped St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT), 7-2, in a league challenge.
