In Saturday's non-league test, the host Newburyport Clippers ice hockey team scored a tight 5-2 win over the Milton Wildcats.

The Clippers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Canton (Canton, MA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Canton held off King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA), 4-0, in a league test.
