North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) fans left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 5-2 in a non-league match.
The Panthers (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Holderness (Plymouth, NH). The Bulls enter the match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Holderness tipped Proctor Academy (Andover, NH), 4-2, in a league match.
Next up, the clash with the Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Varsity Opponent will attempt to advance on its 11-27 season record.
