Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), 73-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brandon Valley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lynx host Marshall (Marshall, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Patriots play the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
